A short list. If you read Craigslist’s TOS, this will feel familiar. If not: be decent, post real things, handle transactions like an adult.

We're all here to connect. Treat others well. Harassment, spam, or dishonest behavior will get you booted from the community.
Be Authentic
Keep it real. Impersonation and fake profiles aren't cool and can also get you banned. (e.g. only Larry Page should be claiming the handle @larrypage)
Human Interaction Only
Contact with intention. Please don't use bots or automated tools to reach out to other members.
Safety & Transactions
Prioritize Your Safety
Misc won't step in to manage your deals or verify items. Take care of yourself: meet up in safe, public places and do your research before any money changes hands.
Report Concerns
See something sketchy? Use the "flag" button to give us a heads-up. It helps us keep the community great for everyone.
Content & Integrity
Keep Listings Authentic
List stuff you actually own and set a fair price. We have zero patience for spam, phishing, get-rich-quick schemes, fake products, or deceptive ads.
No Sexual Content
Misc isn't a venue for sexual services, escort or companionship offers, explicit sexual content, or solicitation of any kind. Posts like this will be removed and may result in losing access.
Respect Confidentiality
Posts here are just for the community. Please don't share or repost an opportunity elsewhere. Also, make sure you're not sharing any proprietary info or anything legally sensitive.
